On March 29, John Krasinski launched a YouTube talk show called Some Good News, offering up exactly that — some good news — during the seemingly endless stream of bad news of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Krasinski, who shoots the show from home, has produced a new episode each week. The most recent, “The Office Cast Reunites for Zoom Wedding,” laid the biggest possible cards out on the table. The host called a couple whose proposal was like Jim and Pam’s, Krasinski and Jenna Fischer’s characters on The Office, and officiated their wedding via Zoom, calling their parents, as well as Fischer to be the maid of honor.
However, he didn’t stop there, eventually calling upon the entire cast of The Office to wish the couple congratulations. Everybody, including Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, and Ellie Kemper, danced in celebration, bringing the cast of the show together for a brief moment of joy.
If this scratches your Office itch, be sure to catch Space Force when it hits Netflix at the end of May. The upcoming series stars Carell, and was co-created by Office mastermind Greg Daniels.
