Uncharted 2: Among Thieves ‘Borneo’ treasure locations guide

In this Uncharted 2: Among Thieves guide, we’ll help you find the four treasures in Chapter 3 “Borneo,” part of the PS4’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

You can find the name of current chapter from the game’s menu. Pause the game, and select Load Game. The most recent save will have the name of the chapter (but not the number) on the bottom line.

There’s no map in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, so for each of the collectibles below, we used photo mode to zoom out and give you some context surrounding the treasure locations. Use the images to make sure you’re in the right area and the added arrows to help you find your way.

Yuan Dynasty Coin treasure location

Near the beginning of this chapter, you’ll set the first explosive charge. A little past that, you’ll come to a huge tree in the river where Sully will continue right. Look to the left of the tree, and climb onto the fallen log there. Shoot the Yuan Dynasty Coin out of the tree (above the in-the-wrong-hemisphere toucan).

Shortly after that, you’ll come up to two guards complaining about being in the jungle. Once they’re knocked out, look near where the guard on the right was standing for another fallen log. Climb it, and grab the Yuan Dynasty Jade Animal from the barrel.

As you continue forward, Chloe will say you’re getting close to the excavation site. After another quick fight, you’ll climb up a wooden wall. Continue climbing to the very top and shuffle over to the right (toward a couple more wildly-out-of-place toucans). Follow another fallen log to a stream, and then follow that to its end. The Jade Pei Pendant is on some logs there.

Amber Jade Chimera treasure location

This one is a bit hard to explain, so we’ve included a video above for reference.

A little later, you’ll lose your gun and have to fight several soldiers by hand in some water. After the fight, you’ll climb a rope out of the pit where you fought. At the top of the rope, turn right (instead of following Sully). Jump the gap, and follow the path around the rocks. Immediately after the rocks, climb the handholds on your left. Jump across to the poles, and swing over to the wooden beam. Cross the beam to the right, and then turn left. Jump the gap again, and follow the path to pick up the Amber Jade Chimera.
