Uncharted 2: Among Thieves ‘Mountaineering’ treasure locations guide

In this Uncharted 2: Among Thieves guide, we’ll help you find the six treasures in Chapter 17 “Mountaineering,” part of the PS4’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

We’ve organized our guides by chapters. To find the chapter name, press the Options button and select Load Game from the pause menu. The name of the current chapter (but not the number) appears on the bottom line of the most recent save in the Load menu.

There’s no map in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, so for each of the collectibles below, we used photo mode to zoom out and give you some context surrounding the treasure locations. Use the images to make sure you’re in the right area and the added arrows to help you find your way.

Tibetan Ritual Blade treasure location

Inside the cavern, Tenzin will find a rope and you’ll swing across a gap. You’ll both take a ladder down to a tunnel below you. Before heading into the tunnel, turn around. The Tibetan Ritual Blade will be along the cliff edge.

Clay Deity Head treasure location

A little deeper into the caves, you’ll come to another gap. After you retrieve the rope, Tenzin will swing across another gap. Instead of swinging across the gap to Tenzin, swing over to the ledge on your right to pick up the Clay Deity Head.

Bronze Chenrezig Statue treasure location

A bit later, after you find a body and some wolves, Tenzin will boost you up to another path. Climb the icy ledges to the left until you reach an abandoned campsite. The Bronze Chenrezig Statue is past the camp on a ledge below you.

Skull Cap Drum treasure location

After a lot more climbing, Nate will venture forward on his own, part of the roof and some icicles will collapse behind you, and you’ll come to a river. Instead of climbing the ledges nearby, stay along the river and follow it to the cliff. Take a right — there’s a path — to find the Skull Cap Drum.

Silver Needle Case treasure location

From the river, you’ll climb up a little and backtrack upstream. When you jump across the river to reach a ladder, the Silver Needle Case will be on your left.

Bronze Stupa Ornament treasure location

After reuniting with Tenzin and your fight with the yeti(?), you’ll work your way around the ice pillars. When you reach the corpse (who, thankfully, has some more ammo), continue past him to the left. Jump the gap to the snowy ledge to find the Bronze Stupa Ornament (it won’t be sparkling, so you just have to trust us).
