Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception 8. ‘The Citadel’ treasure locations guide

In this Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception guide, we’ll help you find the seven treasures in Chapter 8 “The Citadel,” part of the PS4’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

We’ve organized our guides by chapters. To find the chapter name, press the Options button and select Load Game from the pause menu. The name of the current chapter (but not the number) appears on the bottom line of the most recent save in the Load menu.

There’s no map in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, so for each of the collectibles below, we used photo mode to zoom out and give you some context surrounding the treasure locations. Use the images to make sure you’re in the right area and the added arrows to help you find your way.

Silver Sassinid Coin treasure location

From the start of the chapter, you’ll climb a tower to get around a locked door. On the other side of that tower, you’ll cross a bridge. A chunk of bridge is missing. Hop the fencing there, and look down over the edge. Use the yellow ledges to reach the Silver Sassinid Coin.

Ancient Metal Elephant treasure location

Inside the next tower, you’ll fight some baddies, and then reunite with Sully. After you lower the drawbridge, step onto the stone walkway. Ahead of you just a little to the right, there’s a corner of wall sticking out toward you. The very hard-to-see treasure is on that corner near the top. Shoot down the Ancient Metal Elephant to collect it.

Crusader Coin treasure location

To the right of the drawbridge, you’ll shoot your way through a locked gate. Step through the gate, and turn right. The Crusader Coin is on the statue in the alcove there.

Enamel Copper Vessel treasure location

At the end of the next hallway, Sully will lower you down a well to a waterway. You’ll climb out of that waterway into a quick fight. When you climb up, head to the left, and then turn right at the wall. You’ll see the Enamel Copper Vessel next to a door.

Marble Double Eye Idol treasure location

When you get back topside after your excursion through the waterway, you and Sully will trade off shooting locks to open gates. As you step through your gate, turn around and look at the tower above you. The Marble Double Eye Idol will be on the right corner.

Medieval Lead Horseman treasure location

After you and Sully find Chloe and Charlie, you’ll work your way across a courtyard with several agents. Inside the next tower, you’ll pass through a heavy metal portcullis. Just on the other side of that portcullis, keep to the left and pass the stairs. The Medieval Lead Horseman is on the windowsill ahead of you.

Byzantine Reliquary Cross treasure location

After briefly getting blown outside of the tower by a grenade, several snipers, and a whole lot of running, you’ll ride a zip line down to a courtyard. Then, you’ll have a huge firefight in that courtyard as you make your way toward the (other) secret entrance. The fight ends with two snipers in a tower. When you approach the tower, you’ll step through a new hole in the wall. The Byzantine Reliquary Cross will be on your right as you step through.
