Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End ‘Brother’s Keeper’ treasures and collectibles locations guide

In this Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End guide, we’ll help you find the four treasures and one journal note in Chapter 21 “Brother’s Keeper.”

We’ve organized our guides by chapters. To find the chapter name, head to the main menu. When you choose to continue your Story game, you’ll see the chapter number and name. (Unlike the previous games, the chapter name is not part of your save file.) In the same menu, you can make sure you haven’t missed any collectibles in the Chapter Select option.

Chapter 21 follows Nate as he searches for Sam.

There’s no map in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, so for each of the collectibles below, we used photo mode to zoom out and give you some context surrounding the treasure locations. Use the images to make sure you’re in the right area and the added arrows to help you find your way.

This chapter opens with a bit of climbing. just keep going until you find Sam’s footprints. From there, you’ll follow the edge of the cliff, and toss your grappling hook to an branch. Instead of jumping off, turn around, and swing up to the ledge above where you started. You’ll find the Mughal Enamel Bird near the base of the tree.

Journal note 1 (of 1) collectible location

A lot of swinging and climbing will take you past Sam’s second and third sets of footprints. When you find the fourth set, you’ll be in an old camp. This journal note is with the skeleton on your right.

From there, you’ll follow Sam’s tracks into a series of caves and tunnels. One bridge collapse later, you’ll crawl through a tunnel into a cave with water at the bottom, and crates scattered around (you might also notice a tortoise when you arrive). The Stone Vase is in crate across from the tunnel you enter through.

After a little more climbing, you’ll find and rappel down toward Avery’s ship. Before you drop off the rappel line, check in the rocks opposite the piton-able wall (basically where the mast is pointing). There’s a small cave to swing into where you’ll find the Strange Fruit.

From there, you’ll climb and piton your way around the cave, and then you’ll slide the rest of the way down. When you hit the water at the bottom, look for the small cave to the right of the falling water (it’s behind you when you splashdown). You’ll find the Rajasthan Box inside.
