Gamers don’t understand that writers for video game websites don’t have time to become really good at specific generes because their job demands they just play enough to get an impression and then jump to the next game. It’s also the reason the same writers don’t always have the same opinions about games as the average Gamer, if you play every AAA game that comes out every year they all just blend together into one focus tested blob.
