I wish it had had more horror. There were some really cool scenes, but in general Raimi’s brand of horror (and comedy) doesn’t really work for me.

A bit disappointed with America Chavez. I expect her to punch her way through her problems, even at a younger age. Also they removed essentially her entire latina background, if she went from the utopian parallel, to not staying anywhere long in alternate earths, to Kamar-taj
Also I was looking forward to America and Kate being best buds in the same way as in the comics, but with the age difference that’s not gonna work…
Still happy we got her! Looking forward to seeing her in future stuff.

I hope they’ll handle her in this movie like she’s depicted in the Barbie Vlog series. Super insightful and supportive, caring about mental health and such.
