It will be. The hints are all in the article. Closed beta for iOS and PC: gonna be on mobile. Can’t be a mobile game without gacha.
As a Proxy, they’ll take many different characters on their adventures through Hollows, all while fighting off Ethereal and combining the abilities of the other characters in the party for bigger combos and more damage.
Right there. You have to get the good characters to be able to fight good, so you better believe they’re gonna make you juggle currencies to pay for pulls on banners to get the characters with the most stars or whatever. Gacha? Gotcha.

Although I suppose I should clarify: commercials and press releases/press interviews are different, and the excessive statements using overly polite language to say nothing at all fall firmly into the latter category.
. o O (Watching politicians here in particular is comical; when asked for details about how the government will address such-and-such a situation, there’s always a flowery, lengthy response that inevitably boils down to either "we’re going to do something" or "we’re going to think about it".)

Not sure about people born and raised in Japan, but as an American who emigrated to Japan and got fluent in the language, I can confirm that for me it is absolutely just as annoying.
It’s a whole bunch of using overly polite language to say really nothing at all. And the culture valuing uniformity over all (pretty much) means that every company’s advertising is basically identical within a given product genre (e.g., all beer commercials are basically the same, all video game commercials are basically the same, etc.)
