The US isn’t the only country that has summer from June-August. 90% of the world’s population lives in the northern hemisphere. It’s not a "US centric thought bubble" to refer to seasons in the way northern hemisphere residents experience them.

"The prequel series will reportedly act as an origin story for the character, and give a window into his early life as a vigilante."
The series is most definitely a sequel and I feel like I’ve seen James Gunn knock down this misconception countless times in interviews and on social media. I’m sure it will backfill and give context to his origin, especially since his dad will be in the show, but the show takes place after The Suicide Squad.

Ignoring the fact that it’s idiotic to claim this is a spoiler filled title…. the movie has been out for two weeks and had the third biggest opening weekend of all time. Safe to say anyone who’s particularly spoiler sensitive has either seen the movie or is waiting for streaming for covid related reasons. If it’s the latter I respect the decision, but you can’t exist on the internet and reasonably expect to remain spoiler free for 3+ months waiting for it to go streaming. So yes, the spoiler moratorium has passed.

Wow, so there’s an infinite amount of spoilers in the title!? Oh the humanity!

That’s not really how being the Sorcerer Supreme works though, it’s a job… Wong is either doing the job or he’s not. If Tom Brady were to get injured and miss time on the football field his team would make someone else the starting quarterback. When Brady comes back the other guy is still the starting quarterback until Brady actually takes the field and plays a game. If Brady starts a game on the bench he’s not letting the other guy think he’s the starting quarterback while secretly actually being the starting quarterback, the replacement is the starting quarterback.
Dr Strange might be the more talented sorcerer, but until he actually takes the responsibilities of Sorcerer Supreme away from Wong he isn’t the Sorcerer Supreme. From the context we get in No Way Home Wong is still actively carrying the duties of Sorcerer Supreme.

Regarding Fisk and the end of Daredevil S3 – until Feige, another director/producer/writer, or something on screen actually confirms that the Netflix series happened in this timeline I’m not going to put much brain power into trying to figure out how the puzzle pieces fit together. With Loki, What If…?, Spider-Man, and soon Dr Strange the MCU is firmly in multiverse territory now and I think it’s really easy for the MCU to just imply that the Netflix shows diverged from the Sacred Timeline sometime after the Loki’s invasion and everyone in those shows are now variants to the versions they are starting to introduce here. It lets the MCU rely on the familiarity audiences have with the characters without worrying about the events in those shows, especially since while Marvel Studios has the rights to the characters and are free to cast the same actors in those roles, the actual shows themselves are owned by Netflix and any explicit reference to events in them would have to be authorized by Netflix.
My gut tells me Fisk isn’t dead, it would be pretty disappointing to bring him back just to kill him off after 10 minutes of screen time, but we’ll see.
