So at least the level of videogame writers from 3 decades ago?

It looks like they’re pulling an original RE movie and just telling their own story. Only this time they’ll be less unique with it (specifically regarding the first movie not where that series ended up going) but also throw explicit fanservice nods to the games into it.

I mean, it’s not exactly surprising since it’s not a Disney character they licensed but a Square-Enix one. I imagine getting Disney to sign off of Mickey and Donald would probably cost a significant chunk more than just getting Sora in the game. Same goes for licensing Utada’s music.

Reports were that HBO was willing to give Benioff and Weiss multiple additional full seasons to keep GoT going but B&W decided on 2 short seasons.

When these ideas were first floated around season 6 there was considerable excitement around them. Then the rest of GoT happened.

Huh, saw the tweet earlier and thought it was an old announcement. Could have sworn this acquisition had already happened.

I would say that this is the U.S. and it’s an un surprisingly low number. Corporate damages in the US are entirely about looking like you’re doing something while being as ineffectual as possible.
