'Twas the night before Polygolidays, and the team was all here,
Furiously working on our games of the year;
The stockings were hung in the Polygon Den
As Chris Plante gave PUBG a 10 out of 10;
And as I was nestled in front of my screen,
Just counting the minutes till 2018,
I thought to myself, “Now, isn’t it weird
how this year really sucked, but the games were revered?”
Then the gloom that I felt lifted much like a cloud,
So I sprang from my desk, and I yelled it aloud:
“The joy that we feel here really depends
On our loving community of Polygon friends!
Now, PATRICK! now, JUSTIN! now, SIMONE and CLAYTON!
On, RUSSELL FRUSHTICK! on, TARA and GRIFFIN!
We must make a carol! A new video!
We must sing a song to let them all know!"
And though no one else sang, their hearts filled with cheer
At your light of pure joy in this dump of a year.
You make us so merry. It’s cheesy but true.
So Happy Polygolidays from Polygon to you!
