Take a longer look at Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in extended E3 footage

Chloe and Nadine find trouble in India

Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment released an extended look at gameplay from Uncharted: The Lost Legacy this week, giving everyone a chance to soak up about 10 minutes of the upcoming PlayStation 4 action-adventure.

The segment, which Naughty Dog and Sony showed behind closed doors at E3 2017, shows Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross adventuring through India’s Western Ghats mountains in search of the lost cities of the Hoysala Empire.

As is tradition with Uncharted games, Chloe and Nadine’s adventure goes sideways pretty quickly. Gunfights and fistfights ensue, and the pair are relentlessly hounded by a vehicle with a pesky mounted machine gun. Chloe and Nadine also run into “ruthless warmonger,” Asav. He doesn’t seem nice.

The footage features the same explosive action we’ve come to expect from Uncharted games, but gives us a better look at Chloe and Nadine’s dynamic. The pair don’t always appear to get along or agree on the ideal approach to taking down nameless thugs.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a stand-alone release for PS4, is coming Aug. 22.
