Watch 12 minutes of 1930s action-adventure Strange Brigade

An exotic journey into the unknown (with tons of ammo)

Strange Brigade is a new game from Rebellion, the developer behind the Sniper Elite and Zombie Army series. Like those games, Strange Brigade is of a period — the 1930s — but takes a more fantastical, more lighthearted approach to shooting waves of enemies.

As members of the Strange Brigade, a team of special operatives working for the British government, players will need to slay zombies, mummies and other mystical creatures. Strange Brigade’s serial film presentation helps set it apart from other cooperative shooters, as well as Rebellion’s other work. You can get a taste of that in the gameplay video above, which was captured at E3 2017 on a PC.

For more on Strange Brigade, check out the game’s original announcement trailer and an 8-minute gameplay video featuring commentary from the developer.

Strange Brigade doesn’t have an announced release date, but the third-person shooter is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
