This new gameplay video for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus takes place in the ruined streets and buildings of New Orleans, during an alternative history in which the Nazis won World War 2 and conquered the United States.
Our hero B.J. Blazkowicz infiltrates the city in order to link up with some resistance fighters holed up in an abandoned bank. During cutscenes, we get to see more of B.J’s personality and his relationships with various allies, as well as his hostility to a Marxist fighter, who he must befriend.
This video is also an opportunity to get a closer look at some of the monstrous engines of death created by the Nazis, as well as the tools used by America's resistance. Wolfenstein 2 makes use of a variety of weapons that can be upgraded and improved. There's a short section in this video showing gun schematics. There's also a section near the end in which B.J. makes use of a fire-breathing mechanical beast.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will be released on Oct. 27 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, and on Nintendo Switch in 2018.
