The Polygon video team really wanted to highlight every game on our site’s list of the top 50 games of 2018. We also didn’t want to make a video that lasted three hours. So here’s our compromise: a video in which we describe every game on Polygon’s top 50 games of 2018 list, but do so in only seven words or less.
Sure, we made creative use of acronyms and hyphens, but in the end we stuck to our rule. We even enlisted the help of all our friends from the non-video part of the site to ensure that every seven words (or less) was written by someone who’d actually played the game. That’s because here at Polygon, we take our quips very seriously. So if you don’t have time to read a great big list of games (though you really should, it’s a great list), why not watch our not-quite-4-minute-long video?
