2019 has been a great year for Polygon’s video team and the stories we’ve told on our YouTube channel.

We’ve explored how real parkour is in games, how to find your very own Kojima name, and why the final song in Journey was so hard to create. But if you’ve had a busy year, you might’ve missed some of the videos we’ve released in the last twelve months. Or perhaps you want to rewatch some of your favorite videos with friends and family and don’t want to go hunting for clips.

To help put your favorite videos right at your fingertips we’ve compiled playlists of some of our most popular clips for you to enjoy. From Unraveled to Overboard, here’s a collection of some of our favorite Polygon videos of 2019.

The best of Polygon

Want to introduce yourself or a friend to our videos? Start here!

Unraveled

Unraveled is an absurdly comprehensive deep dive into video game lore. No lingering question goes unanswered as Brian sacrifices mind, body, and soul in his quest for answers.

Overboard

Overboard is Polygon’s board game series. Each episode focuses on a single game, explaining its mechanics while Polygon’s video team and friends play through several rounds, share tons of laughs, and crown a winner.

Games Feel Good

Some games are masterclasses in translating the physical sensations of activities like swinging around as Spider-Man or hurling a giant axe as Kratos. But how do game designers do it? This series explores how the art and design of video games can make things feel so good.

Polygon Explains

Some video games, TV shows, movies, and comics have hidden histories and this series brings them to light. No topic is out of bounds, from the life and times of Donkey Kong to the creation of virtual pets. We dive deep to uncover nuggets of information you may have not known about your favorite things.

Of course that’s not all there is to enjoy from us at Polygon. Be sure to head to the Polygon YouTube channel for more. See you in 2020!
