Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, a faithful remaster of the first two Tony Hawk skateboarding games, is out today. It’s great. It also comes with a damn good custom park editor called Create A Park, a staple of the series since Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2. To showcase what Create A Park is capable of, developer Vicarious Visions included a handful of example levels for players to mess around with, including the gloriously ridiculous Roller Coast.
Roller Coast is, well, a roller coaster of grinding opportunities. It’s a silly, must-skate level, and an easy way to nab at least one trophy or achievement with nearly zero work. Please watch the video of Roller Coast above, but be prepared for an almost pornographic amount of kissing. Rail kissing.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2’s built-in Create A Park levels get weird in other ways. There’s Black Pyramid, aptly described as a “surreal underground park within a strange pyramid;” The View, a very large skateboarding playground that dispenses with the architectural realism of the game’s standard levels; the sad, lonely, and flat Montana; and Face of Skateboarding, a CAP level where you skate on ... Tony Hawk’s face?

Poor Tony.
