Watch Dogs: Legion wouldn’t feel like it was set London if it didn’t include Buckingham Palace guards, those red-coated chaps with the comically tall hats. Fortunately, despite Albion rule, Buckingham Palace guards still have a place in this near-future London, and you’ll need one to score one of Watch Dogs: Legion’s many class-specific achievements and trophies.

The Royal Tour requires that you “enter Buckingham Palace’s restricted area disguised as a Royal Guard.” So, for this guide, we’ll go over where to find Buckingham Palace, how to recruit a Royal Guard, and how to reach the restricted area.

Recruiting a Buckingham Palace Royal Guard

Buckingham Palace is the large chunk of the map covering most of the west side of the City of Westminster. To recruit a Royal Guard and enter undetected, you’ll need the Deep Profiler tech upgrade, which costs 40 Tech Points.

Once you have it, approach the locked gate on the east side of the palace. From here, you can ping the guards within and add them to your list of potential recruits.

Make sure you choose one who actually has Uniformed Access to Buckingham Palace. It’s a little confusing, but some guards who are wearing the Royal Guard uniform won’t actually have the ability to equip that uniform if you recruit them. Some are just Albion goons. When you ping them, make sure your Optik readout lists them as “Royal Guard” and lists “Uniformed Access” with a thumbnail of the red uniform under their abilities.

Even if you have the right person in mind, you can’t recruit them while they’re working. So look up their schedule using the Deep Profiler, and track them down outside of work. They will almost certainly have a “Dislikes DedSec” trait, so you’ll need to do something to earn their trust before you can access their mission.

After you’ve successfully recruited a Royal Guard, you can select their uniform in the ability wheel to put it on or take it off.

Enter the Buckingham Palace Restricted Area

Getting the uniform was the hard part. The rest is easy. While wearing the uniform, enter the Buckingham Palace grounds, which will be outlined in red. That’s it. Congrats!
