As you explore The Witcher 3’s world, you’ll encounter Places of Power. These magical stones temporarily increase the intensity of Geralt’s Signs. You’ll also receive an Ability Point the first time you visit each Place of Power.
To use a Place of Power, approach the glowing stone and press the prompted button. Pressing it briefly will get you your Sign buff, but you’ll have to hold it down for a couple seconds to collect your Ability Point on your first visit.
Below, we’ve got a map for all six Places of Power in White Orchard.
White Orchard Places of Power locations map
White Orchard is the first area you’ll explore in The Witcher 3. Once you visit the notice board in Woesong Bridge, Places of Power will be marked as Point of Interest question marks (along with everything else remotely interesting in the region).
Use our map above to sort out which of those question marks are Places of Power. We’ve also labeled the area’s Signposts to make it easier to Fast Travel close to each.
Visiting a Place of Power will buff the associated Sign for 30 minutes.
