In a pop culture collaboration that’s out of left field, today Microsoft announced that Gears of War fans will be able to suit up as the T-800 Endoskeleton. All you have to do is buy and play any version of Gears of War 5 with a Game Pass membership by September 16, 2019.
Gears 5 follows the adventures of Kate Diaz as she tries to find out the truth about her Locust medallion — which means the game takes place shortly after the events of Gears 4. During today’s E3 presentation, The Coalition unveiled a new mode called Escape, where up to three players will try their best to make it out of levels alive.
Gears 5 is out in Sept. 9 for Xbox One and PC, which will also have cross-play between the platforms. Game Pass players will be able to enjoy the cover-based shooter four days early, however.
