Trial of the Sword: Final Trials: Underground Floor 4 is a battle between you and eight stalkoblins on stalhorses. In this level of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s The Master Trials DLC, getting close to your enemies is the wrong approach and a recipe for losing hearts. Your remote bombs will make Underground Floor 4 easier to manage and keep you at a safe distance. In this guide, we’ll show you how it’s done.
Final Trials: Underground Floor 4 walkthrough
- The first five stalkoblins on stalhorses are going to notice you and bear down on you immediately. Toss a remote bomb into the group when they get near.
- Clean up any that didn’t get taken out by the bomb. Just try to avoid hitting or targeting the stalhorses — you can’t kill them and they just distract you from the stalkoblins.
- Pick up anything they drop (and they’ll drop a lot), then turn and head toward the northeast corner.
- In the northeast corner of the room, there are three more mounted stalkoblins armed with bows. And one of them is firing shock arrows. Climb the wall between you and your enemies. They’ll charge when they see you.
- Use a remote bomb from the safety of the top of the wall to knock the mounted stalkoblins off of their horses, and jump down to finish them off.
- Sweep the room for crates to smash. There are a couple wooden crates in some ruins to the northwest and two metal crates on a platform on the right side of the room.
If you find yourself in a tight spot during either of these fights, you can shoot the (stal)horse instead of the stalkoblin. This lets you be a little sloppy and will still pop its head off the same way hitting the stalkoblin itself would.
